J. Douglas Weinstein, M.OM, L.OM, Diplomate of Oriental Medicine

Douglas Weinstein is licensed to practice acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine in Pennsylvania.  He works in conjunction with Western-trained medical doctors to give the best all-around care that a patient can receive.

In 2004, Douglas graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor’s degree in Public and Community Health.  In 2005, Douglas began his career in the integrative health field, studying acupuncture at the Maryland University of Integrative Health.  Douglas received his Master’s degree in Acupuncture in 2008.  He furthered his studies in Chinese medicine, by completing a 3-year post-graduate program in Chinese herbal medicine in 2011.  After obtaining his certificate in Chinese herbal medicine, Douglas became a teaching assistant for the next class of post-graduate Chinese herbal medicine students. In 2014, Douglas received his second Master’s degree, which was a  Master’s of Oriental Medicine.  Subsequently he become Nationally Board Certified in Oriental Medicine by the N.C.C.A.O.M.

Treatment Philosophy

My philosophy of health is that each person is created whole. With the stress and challenges of life, we develop blockages over time that hold us back from being and feeling our best. Acupuncture helps to relieve those blockages, so that each individual can feel their best and get the most out of life!

With over 2000 years of history, acupuncture has stood the test of time and has proven its ability to help millions of people worldwide to achieve greater health. Acupuncture is about more than just physical health. It is about emotional, spiritual, physical, and psychological health. Each one affects the other, and it is only when we take the whole picture into consideration, that the individual begins to find lasting relief.

We empower patients to see how they can positively impact their own health, and take control of their lives so that they, too, can feel good again! If you are looking to lead a healthier life, contact us to see if acupuncture is right for you!

Ann Kirby, M.Ac, L.Ac, Diplomate of Acupuncture

Ann Kirby, M.Ac, L.Ac, Diplomate of Acupuncture

Ann is a native of New Jersey, moving to Central Pennsylvania in 2006. She was a music teacher in her previous life and has been a lifelong musician. Introduced to acupuncture as a way to heal torn tendons in her thumb, that prevented her from playing without pain, she continues to be a patient to this day. Inspired by her practitioners and because of her love of helping people, she chose to change paths in 2012 and return to school to become an acupuncturist.

Ann Kirby is a graduate of the Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at NYCC in Seneca Falls, New York. During her training, Ann completed over 3,000 hours of clinical and didactic education in Traditional Chinese Medicine theory, clinical skills, and Biomedicine. In the last year of her education Ann spent over 500 hours in a clinical setting working as an acupuncturist, under the supervision of highly trained clinicians.

Ann continues to learn, focusing on pain management and repetitive stress injury relief. She is interested in providing her services to people, like musicians, who do not have the option of ‘taking time off’ for an injury. Ann also uses acupuncture to treat many other ailments, including fibromyalgia, chemotherapy side effects, menstrual issues, headaches, infertility, sinus allergies, and anxiety. More recently, Ann has completed training in facial rejuvenation acupuncture.

Ann loves serving patients, helping them along their path to healing. Give us a call today to schedule your appointment with Ann! You’ll be glad you did.
