Most back and neck plans run 8–12 weeks. At your evaluation we’ll recommend a specific schedule based on how long you’ve had pain, what’s driving it, and how you respond to your first treatments.

Most people are surprised by how little they feel with acupuncture. The needles are very thin and solid, not like the hollow needles used for shots or blood draws, so insertion is usually barely noticeable.

Many patients feel nothing at all when the needles go in. When you do feel something, it’s often a mild, brief sensation such as warmth, heaviness, or a gentle pressure as the point activates. Occasionally there may be a quick pinch or a dull, achy feeling. These are normal responses and often fade within a few seconds.

Your comfort is always the priority. If any point feels sharp, intense, or distracting, tell your practitioner right away so the needle can be adjusted or removed.

All acupuncture needles used in our clinic are single-use, sterile, and safely disposed of after each treatment.

If our exam suggests your pain needs a different kind of care, we’ll tell you directly and help point you toward a more appropriate option. The goal is the right care, not more visits.

We make both options completely seamless. Many of our patients choose straightforward self-pay pricing, while others utilize insurance benefits. If you plan to use insurance, our team is happy to verify your coverage before your visit; if you are paying out-of-pocket, we keep the process simple, transparent, and accessible from day one.

Your $50 deposit is applied toward your first visit when you come in. If you need to cancel or reschedule, just give us at least 24 hours’ notice and we’ll move it for you. If you cancel late or don’t show, the deposit becomes a $50 late-cancellation / no-show fee to help cover the reserved time.
