What Does Insurance Cover?
Many health insurance plans provide coverage for acupuncture treatments, particularly for physical pain. This often includes conditions such as low back and neck pain, knee discomfort, and migraines. Because coverage details vary significantly by plan, we encourage you to verify your specific benefits prior to your appointment. Beyond pain management, acupuncture is highly effective for a wide range of other health concerns. These services are typically available through our self-pay options, ensuring you have access to comprehensive care to support your health recovery.Verifying Your Coverage
We are happy to personally verify benefits for patients with Federal Blue Cross Blue Shield, Capital Blue Cross, or an out-of-area Blue Cross Blue Shield Plan. If you carry one of these plans, please give us a call and we’ll look into the details for you. For all other insurance providers, we recommend contacting your carrier directly to confirm your specific acupuncture benefits, as coverage varies widely by plan. Please remember to ask if you have to meet a deductible, or if you have a co-pay for specific number of allowed visits. If your insurance benefits are not confirmed for your new patient appointment, we will ask you pay us in full for your appointment and we can submit the claim on your behalf.Other Payment Options
- FSA/HSA: Flexible Spending and Health Savings Accounts are typically accepted for our services. Please confirm eligibility with your plan administrator.
- Auto Injuries: We can offer direct billing for Auto Injury claims (prior approval required).
