Your Sanctuary for Restoration

Welcome to Live Well Medicine. We are honored to support your well-being through Therapeutic Massage. Whether you are seeking relief from chronic tension or a quiet space to reconnect with your body, we are here to provide a restorative experience tailored to your needs.

To help you transition from the busyness of your day into a state of ease, we’ve gathered a few details to help you prepare for your first session. Our goal is for you to feel the benefits of our “Live Well” philosophy from the moment you step into our sanctuary.

Have specific goals for your session or questions about our techniques? We will spend time discussing your focus areas at the start of your appointment. You are also welcome to reach out to our office anytime before you arrive. We look forward to meeting you.

Schedule Your Appointment Online:

To ensure a seamless and deeply relaxing experience, we suggest the following:

  • Arrive with Ease: We invite you to arrive 5–10 minutes early. This allows you to settle into the space, enjoy a glass of water or a cup of hot tea, and complete any remaining intake forms without feeling rushed.
  • Communicate Your Comfort: This is your time. At the start of your session, your therapist will discuss your goals—whether you need deep structural work or gentle stress relief. During the massage, please always feel free to speak up regarding pressure, room temperature, or music volume.
  • What to Wear: For your comfort, we recommend wearing loose, comfortable clothing. During the session, you will be professionally draped with linens at all times, ensuring your privacy and warmth.
  • A Scent-Free Space: To maintain a healing environment for all—especially those with sensitivities—we kindly ask that you refrain from wearing perfumes, colognes, or strongly scented oils and lotions on the day of your visit.
  • Simplicity is Best: We recommend leaving excessive jewelry at home, as you will be asked to remove jewelry for your Massage.
  • Hydration is Key: Massage encourages circulation and the release of tension. We recommend drinking plenty of water both before and after your session to help your body feel its best.
  • Post-Massage Peace: If possible, try to leave a small “buffer” of time after your appointment before returning to high-stress activities. This allows the benefits of the bodywork to truly settle in.

With the exception of referral based massage for Veterans, Massage is a self-pay service. We currently to not accept other  health insurances for massage sessions.

  • Simple Payment: Payment is due at the time of your session. We accept all major credit cards, cash, and check.
  • FSA & HSA Options: While we do not process insurance directly for Massage, we are happy to accept Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA) cards. Many clients find this a seamless way to utilize their wellness benefits for therapeutic massage.
  • Receipts for Reimbursement: If you would like to submit a claim to your insurance provider independently, please let us know. We are happy to provide you with a detailed “superbill” or receipt to assist you in that process.

If your experience at Live Well Medicine has brought you a sense of peace and relief, we invite you to share that feeling with those you care about.

Our Gift Certificates are a meaningful way to celebrate a loved one’s birthday, a special milestone, or simply to offer support during a stressful time. By gifting a session, you are offering more than just a massage—you are giving the gift of time, presence, and restoration.

  • Purchase with Ease: Certificates are available for purchase at our front desk.
  • A Personalized Touch: We can help you tailor the gift to a specific treatment or a custom amount, so your recipient feels truly cared for.

Our Commitment to Your Time

At Live Well Medicine, we believe in providing our undivided attention. We never double-book because we value the deep, face-to-face time between you and your practitioner.

Because we reserve a significant portion of our day specifically for your care, we kindly ask for your partnership in honoring our schedule. When an appointment is missed without notice, it impacts our practitioners’ ability to serve our community.

Our Cancellation Policy To support the sustainability of our practice and the livelihoods of our dedicated team, we maintain a 24-hour cancellation policy. We understand that personal or work conflicts arise, but please note that our policy applies to all cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice.

  • Massage: 50% of the service fee for late cancellations / 100% for missed appointments.
  • Payment: For your convenience, we keep a secure payment method on file to handle these instances seamlessly.

Avoiding a Fee: The “Gift of Health” Option If you find yourself unable to make your appointment at the last minute, you are welcome to send a friend or family member in your place. This is a wonderful way to avoid a fee while sharing the gift of wellness with a loved one.

  • For Massage: Your substitute will receive a comparable service to the one you had booked.

If you are sending a substitute, please just let us know! We ask that new guests arrive 15 minutes early to complete their paperwork.
