To ensure your first treatment is as effective and comfortable as possible, please review the following details to prepare for your visit.
To achieve the best results and ensure your comfort, we ask that you follow these arrival guidelines:
- Begin Your Intake: Please complete your Intake Form (above) prior to your arrival. Please bring this with you to your appointment.
- Arrive Fresh-Faced: If possible, please arrive with a clean face, free of heavy makeup or perfumes. If you are coming from work, don’t worry—we provide gentle cleansers to prepare your skin. (Douglas, is this accurate?)
- Sun & Skin Care: For 24–48 hours before your session, please avoid excessive sun exposure and discontinue the use of active ingredients like Retinol or strong acids.
- The “Afterglow” Window: Remember that your skin may appear slightly pink (similar to a mild sunburn) for 24–48 hours after treatment. We recommend scheduling your session at a time when you can enjoy a quiet evening at home following your visit. Detailed After-Care instructions will be provided at the end of your first visit.
Transparency is part of our commitment to your care. We focus on providing high-quality, personalized treatments. Insurance does not cover Microneedling services.
- Payment Options: Payment is collected at the time of service. We accept all major credit cards, cash, and check.
- FSA & HSA Use: Because Microneedling is a medical-grade skin therapy, many Health Savings Accounts (HSA)and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) cover the cost. We are happy to accept these cards for your convenience. Please confirm with your plan administrator to confirm these are eligible expenses.

Our Gift Certificates are a thoughtful way to invite friends and family to experience the transformative power of our skin therapies. Whether for a special occasion or “just because,” it is a gift of confidence and self-care. Gift Certificates are available for purchase at the Front Desk.
Our Commitment to Your Time
At Live Well Medicine, we believe in providing our undivided attention. We never double-book because we value the deep, face-to-face time between you and your practitioner.
Because we reserve a significant portion of our day specifically for your care, we kindly ask for your partnership in honoring our schedule. When an appointment is missed without notice, it impacts our practitioners’ ability to serve our community.
Our Cancellation Policy To support the sustainability of our practice and the livelihoods of our dedicated team, we maintain a 24-hour cancellation policy. We understand that personal or work conflicts arise, but please note that our policy applies to all cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice.
- Microneedling: $75 fee charged for late cancellations or missed appointments.
- Payment: For your convenience, we keep a secure payment method on file to handle these instances seamlessly.
Avoiding a Fee: The “Gift of Health” Option If you find yourself unable to make your appointment at the last minute, you are welcome to send a friend or family member in your place. This is a wonderful way to avoid a fee while sharing the gift of wellness with a loved one.
- For Microneedling: Your substitute will receive a comparable service to the one you had booked.
- For Massage: Your substitute will receive a comparable service to the one you had booked.
If you are sending a substitute, please just let us know! We ask that new guests arrive 15 minutes early to complete their paperwork.
